OUr AMBASSADORS
Shaping A Society for all ages
At Intergenerational England, our ambassadors are the heart of our movement. They are passionate advocates, spanning different generations, professions, and communities, united in their commitment to fostering stronger connections across age groups. Through their work, they champion intergenerational collaboration, sharing their stories and experiences to help drive change and promote inclusivity.
If you're passionate about championing intergenerational connections and want to get involved in driving change, we’d love to hear from you

Malachi Davis
Ambassador
"The opportunity to be an ambassador means the world to me as it gives me the platform to start making a difference, and finally having the tools at my disposal to be that change and positive force I've always wanted to see in the world."

Colin
Ambassador
It's so fascinating to talk to these young people. They're so bright, intelligent and quick witted! We have great fun!. We swap stories about our childhoods and what their lives are like compared to mine 80years ago when I was their age.

Sophia
Ambassador
As a mental health advocate, I am all too aware of the issues facing our society. We are supposed to be the most connected society ever with the rise of social media, but the reality is that so many people, both young and old, are suffering from loneliness. It is almost like we have forgotten how to have a meaningful conversation!

Oli Chan
Ambassador
"I think life is more enjoyable when people of all ages mix together instead of being divided. Activities I would like to create for all ages taking part are creating art shows, afternoon tea events, singing clubs, board games activities and others. I think is important to break down the barriers between generations."

POPPY
Ambassador
I’ve loved visiting care homes, community centres, and sheltered housing, spending time with people of all ages. Whether it's playing music, cards, or gardening together, I’ve learned so much and had so much fun. It makes me really happy to see how much we can share with each other.

Nia Alston-Holmes
Ambassador
"I have seen first hand the positive impact this has on all involved and how intergenerational working can be a hugely rewarding experience, combating isolation and loneliness, and be both an educational and fun experience. I will continue to champion and drive forward initiatives that unite the ages."

Sarah Mitton,
Age Friendly Communities Manager at Clarion Futures
“Intergenerational connections can be a wonderful and enriching part of life for people of all ages, tackling loneliness and isolation, but sadly we’re living in an increasingly age segregated society. Intergenerational England can help change that and we are proud to be involved. By encouraging policies that help us to think more intergenerationally we can make a huge difference to both young and old.”
