In a time of political division, social isolation, and stretched public services, the UK needs a new approach to connection, cohesion, and care.
"A Divided Kingdom: Steps Towards Intergenerational Solidarity" is Intergenerational England’s bold and timely response to these national challenges. This report lays out a vision for a fairer, more resilient society by embedding intergenerational practice across sectors, from education and housing, to health and workforce.
Developed in collaboration with sector leaders, academics, practitioners, and community voices, the report acts as a manifesto for long-term, systemic change, placing intergenerational connection at the heart of public policy, service design, and community development.
