The Intergenerational Global Case Study Bank

Intergenerational practice is happening everywhere — in care homes and classrooms, housing developments and hospitals, community spaces and government policy. But too much of it goes undocumented, unseen, and unconnected.

This is where that changes.

The Global Case Study Bank is a growing, open collection of intergenerational work from across the world. From grassroots projects to national policy frameworks, we want to capture what's working, where, and why — building a shared evidence base that strengthens the case for intergenerational approaches at every level.

We want to hear from you

Whether you're a practitioner running programmes on the ground, a researcher building the evidence base, or a policymaker embedding intergenerational thinking into systems and strategy — your work belongs here.

Submissions can include:

  • Community and practice-based projects

  • Research and evaluation findings

  • Policy frameworks and case studies

  • Cross-sector and cross-national initiatives

Every submission adds to a resource that practitioners, researchers, and policymakers can draw on — across the UK and internationally.

Submit your case study and help build the global picture.

Andy Burnham
Mayor of Manchester

“We’re living in increasingly divided times – including division by age. This new report from Intergenerational England sets out a hopeful vision. We need a different way of living, where people contribute together and are valued, and it must be intergenerational.”
